Interested in making resin art? Learn all the fundamentals of this super fun medium with Chelsey and make a beautiful pot plant out of resin that you will be proud to show off in your home.

Resin art is on-trend, and this hands-on class will provide you with everything you need to know about it. During this class, you'll create a planter with the option for a round, hexagon or square pot. Chelsey will not only go through how to make your resin art but also help you apply resin to any other projects that may interest you outside of her class.

Chelsey loves having one on one time with her students so don't be shy to ask as many questions as you like!

You'll learn all aspects including:

  • What is resin and what safety is required when using it

  • What types of resins are suitable for particular projects.

The application and suitable projects

Explore the mixing of different pigments, inks and colours and the different effects you get when mixed with resin.

How to layer your resin to get more depth

Your qualified resin artist Chelsey aims to bring all of her student's creative visions to life. You are guaranteed to walk away with something you love.

What you'll get:

A 12cm round, square or hexagon resin pot plant with a matching water catcher.

Please note:

Your plant pot will need 24-48 hours to dry so it will be posted to you after the class. Postage costs are included.

About your teacher, Chelsey

Chelsey Teale is an Australian based artist currently living in Sydney, originally born and raised in California. 

Chelsey has been creating mixed media art in an attempt to capture a sense of flow and movement within her paintings. Her current work would fall under abstract expressionism fused with modern minimalism. Specialising in non-traditional painting methods and straying away from using any strict guidelines on how the paintings should turn out, rather trusting the movement and flow of the medium. Her approach to her art is completely intuitive, which makes her pieces feel authentic and original.

“I love creating pieces that encourage individuals to have their own unique experience within the painting. I try to encapsulate new textures and movement that capture the emotions while the piece was being made. My intention is to create a connection from me to you through my art. It's a very vulnerable and therapeutic process.”
