What you’ll learn

Indulge and uncover your psychedelic artsy side and come release all that creative energy and channel it into something truly special in this super unique art workshop in Sydney!

Learning from experienced multi-mixed media art teacher Chelsey Teale, you will learn all the tips and tricks for dipping your toe into acrylic painting pouring

This workshop is suitable for those who are beginners to acrylic art and are wanting to get a few more skills to add under their creative belt. You are guaranteed to bring home something you love, whether it's for yourself and your home or a gift for someone you love!

You won't find any other fluid art class like this, so now is the opportunity to come and visit Chelsey's workshop to learn her tricks!

Please feel free to BYO drinks and nibbles (tonic water glows in the UV light ;)

Knowledge required: Beginner friendly.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 9 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adult may observe at the class for free.

What you'll get:

  • 30 cm x 30 cm fluro acrylic pour painting on stretched canvas.

What to bring:

  • A smile and a good attitude!

  • Don't dress to impress as it can get slightly messy.

  • If you have some white clothes you don't mind getting glow paint on then it will be perfect under the Ultra Violet light.

About your teacher, Chelsey

Chelsey Teale is an Australian based artist currently living in Sydney, originally born and raised in California. 

Chelsey has been creating mixed media art in an attempt to capture a sense of flow and movement within her paintings. Her current work would fall under abstract expressionism fused with modern minimalism. Specialising in non-traditional painting methods and straying away from using any strict guidelines on how the paintings should turn out, rather trusting the movement and flow of the medium. Her approach to her art is completely intuitive, which makes her pieces feel authentic and original.

“I love creating pieces that encourage individuals to have their own unique experience within the painting. I try to encapsulate new textures and movement that capture the emotions while the piece was being made. My intention is to create a connection from me to you through my art. It's a very vulnerable and therapeutic process.”
